‘A Casa Das Janelas com Vista’ translates to ‘The House of the Windows with a View’ – some of the rooms do indeed offer gorgeous views over a grid of steep cobblestoned streets, red-roofed townhouses, and the Tagus River in the distance.
This is a stylish B&B tucked away in the heart of Lisbon’s hippest neighbourhood, Bairro Alto. It’s the perfect spot to experience Lisbon’s vibrant nightlife as well as some of the city’s best restaurants. However, Bairro Alto is also a pleasure to explore in the daytime, with beautiful cobblestone alleyways inhabited by both the elderly and a young trendy crowd.

The house is artistically decorated, offering the perfect mix between contemporary and classic elements where modern and designer furniture meets retro decor.

Casa do Conto (The House of Tales) is located in the emerging Cedofeita area in central Porto. Its original concept was born in 2008 but unfortunately a fire destroyed the building in March 2009, but not the will to complete the project.

The House now stands fully rehabilitated, nestled between Casa da Música (Oporto’s Concert Hall) and Rua Miguel Bombarda, known to the locals as “the art galleries street”.
